Split Testing Designer

“We are seeking a highly skilled web designer and developer who can work with our marketing team
to take creative concepts all the way from the idea/wireframe stage through to beautiful, fully sliced/
coded, cross-browser compatible xHTML/CSS pages.

Applicants should be highly skilled in Photoshop, browser testing, table-less xHTML, CSS, Javascript,
jQuery, and Ajax. We are looking for high energy people with strong skills who are ready to be
productive.

A background in (or some experience with) marketing would be a major plus, as A/B testing will be
fundamental to everything you do. Essentially, each page you design will “face off” head to head against
the current winning version of that page – your job, with the support of our marketing department, will
be to come up with pages that convert better than what we already have.

For the right person, this is an extremely exciting job that mixes artistic elements with coding and the
hard science of experimental data. When you build a page that wins, it feels good. It’s like being in Mad
Men, only there’s no guessing – the data tells us if our marketing is effective within a few days.

This is a full time position and you would be required to work from our office in Pacific Beach (San
Diego).
